TMJ Masterclass Training
Dr. Lorio completed the eight-level Occlusion Connections (OC) Gneuromuscular (GNM) Masterclass curriculum as well as related training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
The courses provide clinical insights on diagnosing and treating TMJ disorders, with several solutions not covered in modern dental curriculum.

I can’t thank Dr. Lorio enough for how he has changed my quality of life. I went in with really bad tmj pain after being told by a doctor that it wasn’t anything serious and to continue taking Tylenol for the pain. I was taking two Tylenol every 4 hours it seemed! Dr. Lorio has worked as a dentist since 1993. With multiple decades in the field, he's helped many patients with TMJ disorders and other diverse oral health needs. Over time, he's completed numerous courses related to the treatment of TMJ and occlusal problems.

Dr. Lorio uses some of the latest imaging instrumentation and biofeedback equipment to objectively measure the motion of a patient's jaw and assess the health of the surrounding muscles. Our team is proud to provide the region with state-of-the-art dentistry.

Meet Keith G. Lorio, DDS
Dr. Lorio attended Catholic High School here in Baton Rouge. He attended LSU and was blessed to be accepted to dental school after only three years of college. He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1993, at which point he established his own dental practice.
After dental school, Dr. Lorio spent much of his time training in the fields of restorative dentistry, occlusion (treating misaligned bites), and TMJ/head and neck pain treatment.

Dr. Lorio has extensive training in neuromuscular orthotics, dentofacial orthopedics, and current concepts in TMJ diagnosis and treatment. His ongoing training in jaw dysfunction topics exemplifies his commitment to the evolving art, soul, and science of dentistry when it comes to treating dentofacial pain.
Dr. Lorio provides the same level of care to patients who are just noticing TMJ symptoms for the first time as he does for patients who've struggled with TMJ issues for years without relief.

Personal and Family Life
Dr. Lorio is married to Dawn who is a native of New Orleans. Dawn holds a Master’s degree in education and is currently teaching. Together they have four children.
Their oldest daughter has a degree in physics from Princeton University and is working towards her Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Princeton. Their second oldest daughter currently attends Spring Hill College, is studying education, and is a member of the golf team. She hopes to one day receive her PhD in education. Their son is currently enrolled in the LSU Honor’s College and is working towards a degree in Biological Engineering. He hopes to create inventions to help people in the field of medicine and attend medical school. Their youngest daughter is a senior in high school and hopes to attend college and study architecture.
Dr. Lorio occasionally fishes and plays golf with his family.
